The 262
This kit is typical of pegasus snap planes in that it goes together quite well except the landing gear which as usual means the gear down position doesn't fit without widening the holes. The other hassle was the engines didn't want to stay on my kit so i did glue them in place. The main wing does fit in real tight so be prepared to push hard. The only real hassle however is the paint scheme of this particular plane is a pain but you can paint it any way your heart desires it also comes with the little anti-aircraft rockets under the wings so this bird is equipped to blast B-17's out of the sky.
No stickers
This is a good kit that I used my Hobbylinc rewards to get. Kit goes together quite well, I however use glue even with it being a snap kit but I would have had no issues otherwise. I use the water transfer decals and they are a good quality. Now, if a young modeler was wanting to use stickers, there were none in my kit. This is the second Pegasus snap kit that I have built that didn’t have the stickers, so beware.
Decent for kids.
The shape accuracy and detail are quite good. Not all the pieces fit together so well and do require glue. Engines pop off easily, and wings come apart until you glue them in place. Otherwise, OK model for kids if you need something to do a dogfight with a P-51. Could also be made to look quite good with some effort.
