Great for scale machine guns & more
I have an F4F Wildcat model in 1/48 scale that inexplicably was molded without guns. I used these, along with the .060 size to custom make four wing-mounted machine guns and shrouds. They worked perfectly and were a proper scale match. I am also using them to fabricate some cockpit framing for a Westland Lysander kit and to make external bomb/drop tank racks for several 1/48 kits. They are easy to cleanly cut square and just flexible enough to shape into open curves. May have to heat slightly for tighter curved elements.

Very easy to work with. True to scale and easy to cut, prime and paint. Perfect for repairing broken train accessories.

I mostly use this for making dowel pins to hold pieces together or will use it for making hyd. cylinders.
