I wanted to get away from the typical urban figures just standing around. I wanted more traditional. These reflect an old fashioned agricultural feel. These are excellent quality. They will be frustrating to novices: they do not stand up, and the tools are not connected to the figures. But they are worth the inconvenience. I no longer want the work of properly gluing them to a base, so I simply cut little squares of the thick white double-sided foam tape, leave the masking paper on the bottom side, peel it off the top side, and press the feet down into it. It works either permanently or until a future better treatment is desired.
