Reviews : Revell-Monogram 1981 Camaro Z28

This is a snap-together kit with a low parts count, plastic tires, and no chrome (although nothing is really chrome on the real car). It would have been nice if Revell had advertised this for what it is instead of trying to push it off as a more advanced kit, as that would have warned some buyers from being disappointed. I can't really state too much on the parts fit on this one as I heavily modified my build. I can say though, that everything I did use from the kit fit together very well. The decal sheet is fantastic looking and features four different colored stripes. It will build into a nice looking replica of the real car, but is not very detailed. I do recommend this kit because with a little bit of patience and maybe some parts box wheels and tires you can make it look pretty nice.

Very nice and easy kit with a low parts count. Everything fits well and there’s really good detail for a press fit kit. Decals went on well and you’ll get several different color schemes. The only drawback is the cartoon like styrene tires. I found some more appropriate ones in my parts box. Very nice beginner kit or a good rut breaker.

Like the other comments. This is a disappointment if your an advanced modeler. No crome no rubber. But I added rubber tires and crome rims. Turned out nice for What I was working with. Box said skill 4. More like a skill 1 and 2 mixed. Some of the stuff snapped together. In the pics mine is the orange one.

Was very disappointed with this kit. New 2022 release but: No Chrome parts; No Rubber parts-tires are plastic; Engine is partially molded to chassis; No clear headlights or taillights-decals provided. Good for a real beginner, I guess. Should be labeled as such.

Great kit just wish it had better tires and more parts but nice kit to build anyway!
