Makes a great open top with a beautiful interior
I really like this kit. The Targa bar and rear window are shaped much better than the old Fujimi kit. The wheels are really great as well. Add some seat belts and the 3d interior decal set from Quinta Studios and you'll have and incredible finish. And if you want to go over the top, search for Tartan Patterns - Waterslide Decals on Etsy. Houndstooth and Pasha decals are out there as well. Paired with a nice vintage Porsche paint color from splash Paints, you can create an amazing retro show winner. Yeah, I know it's a G model, I'm over detailing engines, and I love the variety of the '70's 911s more. Keep the cover closed. Besides, It's not what grabs your attention across the parking lot. And once again, you can build it as a base model or optioned, Euro or US spec. I've bought quite a few of these kits and invariably, start planning and painting the next body before I finish the first. I really LOVE the new RoG tooling!
Revell hits the mark
I have been looking for a kit of a Porche 911 Targa as I had one in the ‘80’s and this one fill the bill. For the price, quality and detail are great. The instructions are clear and precise and there is minimal flash. There is enough detail to satisfy the average builder and the super detailed will have a head start.
