Quick and easy, but no handrails
I purchased this set of stairs for an interlocking tower that had none. The Jig provided made it easy to attach the first 5 steps--then it is best to remove it from the jig after the glue dries. I suggest placing a piece of masking tape under the jig are to assist in holding the stringers upright while gluing the first 3 to 5 steps. The manufacturer suggest to spray the jig with Pam oil. I advise against it. Be careful to keep glue away from the stringers on the first 3 to 5 spaced steps, then remove the dried piece from the jig to complete the stairway. It is easier than scratch building and faster too. It took me only 30 minutes to complete one of the four stairways included in this kit. NOTE: Does not include hand rails--you must make your own if you want them.
