This is a cute little kit for the experienced, creative modeler. Good engineering, very detailed!
This is the first for me of the Rslaser kits. At first I was taken back by the minute, detailed woodwork paterns in the kit but after starting work, I realized what was required in special tools and techniques to make building the kit possible. Before you buy this be sure you have a good sharp set of exacto knives and tweezers to cut out and handle the pieces. Also, realize there are creative ways of using and assembling the small parts to make the work easier/simpler and still produce an excellent model. If you are not the type who enjoys exacting, detailed work, capable of some creative designing, this kit is not for you. The cedar shakes roof is amazing! The materials produce a rough, rustic product, perfect for a somewhat tumbled down look. Fun stuff!
