The legendary Scud-B
The kit has 157 parts over 4 sprues and can be built with the missile in the raised or lowered positions. The fit is very good, the detailing good. The chassis is well represented in many individual parts. Proper tire tread patterns. The underside of the model is greatly simplified, certainly due to the price/performance ratio.
No injection windows are provided for the kit. Revell provides two strips of clear acetate you have to cut out for each window, for sure, the trickiest part of the assembly process.
The small decal arch allows the design of three vehicles (Iraq, GDR, Soviet Union). The building instructions are very detailed in color; 12 pages of pure instructions. The kit is very good in general and not so difficult (save for the windows issue) and is a good representation of this legendary weapon of the cold war.
