An enjoyable kit
I picked up this kit at the Air Force Museum at Dayton,OH. This is a great kit - well-designed, almost no flash on the parts, decals adhere really well (although you will need some Micro-Sol to conform them to the molded surface details). If you are planning on displaying it wheels up like I am, you will need to modify the wheels by not attaching the top part of the wheel and it will take some grinding to get everything to fit the the wheel opening (the instructions do not warn of this fitting issue. Also there does seem to be a couple of misprints on the instructions concerning proper part numbers - make sure all of your upper and lower wing, elevator, and flap surfaces match up before painting - or you might find yourself having to repaint some of them. My only real complaint about this kit is that it did not include an engine - just the exhaust ports. Tons of cockpit detail, but no engine - hard to fathom that in a Skill Level 5 kit.
