Superb mix for spring or summer ground cover
In hand, this turf contains much more texture variety and colors than what you see in the catalog pic. The foam particles appear to be a mix of fine and coarse in three or four shades of green along with a smaller amount of light brown/greyish bits. The other half of the mix is a static grass blend of greens and light browns like a meadow blend. The variety of colors and textures in this blend gives a great naturalistic random look. The heavy amount of coarse size particles really give it that important variation in height. And it gives me the idea that one might create their own blend emulating what's here except in darker more forest-like shades or tones appropriate for winter too.
