Move To Halftracks Worth It
This is the second halftrack after the Flak Vierling I just completed. Tending to like the distraction away from regular armor. Pity there are no figures with this model so probably reason for lower price point, Still a nice display model upon completion. Didn't have the fitting issue I saw of body to frame as the other one as this body sits slightly higher. Armored cab is a little overkill so consider not even completing internal details like brake/clutch pedals or miniature painting of dash and instruments.
Overall loved the model, now difficult task to track down US versions as there seems to be less options of those.
If this kit had figures, it would be the perfect kit!
Wow, Tamiya really did great with this one. The perfect balance between parts count and detail. This kit would be perfect for a seasoned modeler or maybe a great second kit for beginners. It put itself together, and I can’t think of one downside in the build. I builds in subassemblies that are perfect for painting. The price for this kit is more than reasonable and worth every penny. Again, the only thing that would have made this kit perfect would have been the addition of at least one figure. A home run on this one!
