Tamiya did well on this kit. Written and line-work directions are clear. The pacing of steps to completion is steady and balanced. Like most Tamiya models, flash is minimal and parts are logically located on sprues. A couple of nuances a modeller might want to know before purchase are: 1) it has rubber band type tracks that respond to paint and model glue; 2) the interior is absent but looks to have attachments for an add-on kit; and 3)there are several decal options for various campaigns the Marder III was in. This is a well executed, unusual, and handsome model that should satisfy most intermediate modellers. The value for cost ratio is very good. I rate it a 5/5 product.
