Reviews : Tamiya US Tank Crew Set European Theater

Matching the box art, I set my figures up in the M4a3e8 tank. Like everyone else, I saw Fury and had to eventually build one. I got some aftermarket accessories for this Tamiya build and it just came out awesome (to me), I was really pleased. A lone half figure came with the kit and is actually really nice in the face, but I wanted to go a little bit further so I picked up this set. I think its a great. The tank commander sitting on the turret, holding the map, as the other crewman leans in listening to what hes saying is really nice. You get whats happening immediately. The details are crisp, the folds in their clothes are sharp. Solid facial expressions as well. Theres a standing figure in overalls talking with a driver/ half figure that creates another easy picture to see. The crewman carrying the crate has a stance that shows the the weight is taxing. The crate snaps in place nicely, by the way. The kneeling figures hands fit cleanly on the sprocket wheel. Plenty of extras-decals,crates, etc. The fit on each were nice, the helmets were multiple pieces-4 or 5 but came out really clean. Overall, its a nice kit. Very enjoyable. Im slow painting, used acrylics and oils. Well worth the price.

This was really easy to put together and the figures lend themselves to many of the armor vehicles with respect to placement and realism. I have fun just moving the from one armored model to the next and doing photo sessions. You will not be sorry for purchasing this kit. In fact, you should just maybe have a kit like this for your collection.

Tamiya did a nice job on these. The figure are well detailed and well engineered. The tanker helmets look to be a bit fiddly but fell together. Poses are nice and I plan on using them with no modifications.

FIT VERY WELL. WAS NOT TO SURE ABOUT THE HELMENTS BUT THEY WENT TOGETHER FAIRELY EASY.OVERALL I AM HAPPY THIS KIT.GOT ANOTHER SHERMAN THAT NEEDS SOME CREW SO ILL GET THE NEXT ONE SOON
