Challenging Kit
This model is not for beginners. Overall it is another terrific Tamiya model that requires a good deal of patience and time. Some parts don’t match well requiring some ingenuity. Painting some parts requires a very fine and precise touch. The overall detail is terrific although some of the work is ultimately hidden from view…like many detailed models in my experience. An enjoyable experience.
best corsair kit on the market
these are pricey but if you want to pretty much guarantee a fantastic looking kit, you might as well cough it up. i used aftermarket decals because the tamiya ones can be a bit too thick for my liking. this is a short review because there really isnt anything bad to be said about it. took a ton of time, but it was a flawless assembly.
One of the best ever
This might be the greatest kit I've ever put together, and it took a while. Between the cockpit, the engine, the wing detail, and the undercarriage, this is almost 4 kits in one. Fantastic fit and detail, just make sure you have room on your shelf. It will build into a show stopper.
