Reviews : Tamiya Vought F4U-1D Corsair

Possibly my favorite 72nd scale aircraft kit I've built? Definitely in the past couple years at least. Went together like a dream. Decals were textbook easy to work with. First time I used the AS blue in the can. Not a huge fan of that process but the end result color is magnificent so I can't argue much with that. Guarantee I will build this one again.

I always liked the look of the inverted gull wing. This kit has great detail for 1/72 scale. Parts are accurate with very little flash. All parts fit nicely. I thought it needed a pilot so I added one.

This is an awesome kit. It's like Tamiya took the 1/48 molds and just shrunk them. The fit, the detail, everything is almost perfect. Just about anyone will be able to handle this kit.

This model is very well done with excellent fit and finish. The options are true and well thought out. I would recommend this model to all modelers.

This an easy to build and good looking model. The instructions are easy to follow, the parts fit very well. It is well worth the price.
