This kit is a total blast from start to finish. I had minor fit issues with the lower nose, but that's it. The two main fuselage halves fit almost perfectly. You get two sets of wing tips that are interchangeable, up and extended. The same applies to the canopy, open or closed. You can build it with or without the ladder, and the fuel probe can be stored or deployed. There's an optional centerline gun pod. There are three different ordinance configurations, internal only, under wing only, or both. Ordinance is limited to AAM's and AGM's The internal weapons bay is super detailed, and comes with painting directions. The landing gear assembles easily and is completely sturdy. There are well over two hundred decals for stencil, ordinance and build specific. Can't say enough good things about this one.

The build of this kit went pretty smooth and the same as the F35A kit. My only struggle were the bomb bay doors which was minimal. The bomb bay provides enough internal pieces to fully detail it!! One of my favorite areas to get that fine brush out and detail it to your skillset. The kit offers both extended and folded wings that can be changed out at anytime. Both wing tips can be made with missiles attached. Simply inserted. I am not an AIM9x fan so i used 4 Aim120’s from my extras as you will see in the photos i submitted. For the quality you get, the price is right in line. Everything fits together well and you will definitely be happy with the results.
