Good red!

Wet sand with 10,000-12,000 grit and then cover with Tamiya acrylic clear gloss, and you've got a hit!
Only complaint, and it's common with Tamiya acrylics, is that it dries QUICKLY, both in the bottle (develops a skim on top) and on the brush - wash the brush and shake the paint when you start to see the skim. Bit of a hassle, but the results are great. (See my picture of the Pete wrecker and the Ford service truck!)
Great For Brush Painting!!!
First of all don't believe anyone who claims Tamiya paints aren't good for brush painting or that they have to be diluted for any reason other than air brushing. As long as you're competent enough to handle a brush with out using a broom in its place you'll be alright with the Tamiya bottled paints.
Best model paint by far

Tamiya makes the hobby paint on the planet. Its so easy to work with. The coverage is awesome. At first, coming from Testors, I was hesitant because Testors is so thin and barely covers. Once I used it, it was a game changer. I will be switching all my paints to Tamiya.
A bit tricky

I used this to paint the interior of my model car and it was more difficult to work with compared to the other paints. It dried faster, thus was harder to work with. I had to use multiple coats because the paint drying kept sticking to my brush, leaving it splotchy.
Excellent red from Tamiya

Great coverage and easy mixing.
This is a very good paint. It dries quickly when I air brush and didn't run.
In storage the paint might thicken just add a drop of water and the paint comes ready to use again so there is no waste.
A very useful color.
Great acrylic paint
As with all Tamiya acrylics, thin between 1:1 and 2:1 paint to thinner for airbrushing. I personally thin about 65% thinner. 15-18 psi. Brush paint in one direction only and avoid over brushing until first coat is cured (not just dry to the touch)

Nice solid red, easy to over thin, best ratio i have found is thinning with Tamiya thinner at 2 parts paint to 1 part thinner for airbrushing.

Tamiya is an excellent acrylic paint. Tamiya paints are not highly recommended for brush paint but are a superb paint for airbrushing
If you need red paint
After thinning the paints leaves a nice finish when airbrushing or hand painting. Worked well on the details got my TB2 model.
Good airbrush paint
Tamiya paints are top quality with good pigmentation and flow characteristics through an airbrush if properly thinned.
