Best model paint by far
By: Felgenhauer98
Tamiya makes the hobby paint on the planet. Its so easy to work with. The coverage is awesome. At first, coming from Testors, I was hesitant because Testors is so thin and barely covers. Once I used it, it was a game changer. I will be switching all my paints to Tamiya.
A very precise color.

Dark iron is a great color for many details, I use it specially with some tools and engines of vehicles, and also with some aircraft parts. You are not going to be using this color a lot, but when you need it, it’s a very precise one.
Great acrylic paint
Paint to Thinner range 2:1 to 1:1 for airbrushing depending on air pressure, paint volume and distance from subject. Experiment on scrap plastic first. Good match for aircraft exhaust headers.
Nice black iron

The usual Tamiya acrylic quality. This is a very nice color, although you aren't going to use a lot of it. Much better than flat black for any blackened iron parts.
Good Basic Black

This is a good paint period. It satisfies the need to darken those road rims, and any thing that needs to be dark and then weathered. This paint does not shine.
Great color

Tamiya is the best paint ever in my opinion. For airbrushing thin 2:1 and brush use a little bit of retarder. Just a couple of drops. Very quick drying time

Tamiya paints are the best for car models, they go on nice, most never leave brush lines, they are true to color, this color is good for exhaust manifolds

Dark Iron XF84 is a go-to color for vehicles, especially military. Very true, very rich, very Tamiya.
Nice for use on radial engines

I love Tamiya acrylics since they go on smoothly with an airbrush and retain their color once dry.
