This is the best clear flat coat in a rattle can that I have found. It beats Testors Dullcote, hands down. It gives a VERY flat finish. Not hit-and-miss like the Dullcote. The only drawback is that it goes quickly and is a bit expensive

What can I say other than fantastic?! Yeah it’s a clear but the smoothness of it once dry is so lovely. Used another flat clear and it was a bit rough once dried. Also don’t spray over decals.

I've never met a Tamiya paint I didn't like. Their rattle cans aren't very economical, but the do the job.

These rattle can varnishes work great and are easy to use when your feeling to lazy to fire up the airbrush.
