The best decal set I've used
Recently picked up a bottle of Tamiya Mark fit strong after a kit I was building had decals for white wall tires that proved extra difficult. I destroyed 3 of the decals using testors and model master decal set that didn't allow the decal to seat and they ultimately tore apart or simply released from the tire. I gave up and painted the white walls.
I decided to try this on the 4th and not only did the decal seat but it would allow me to squeeze the tires in half without wrinkling or tearing the decal. Needless to say, this will be the only decal set I use moving forward. Also, really wish I already had this on the bench at the start of the kit.
Works Extremely Well, But...
This product may damage paint or topcoats. It works very, very well at holding decals in place and conforming them to the kit you're working on. You don't need to use a lot, and DO NOT RUB the excess off, blot it gently with a soft cloth or absorbent paper towel. This does eat into some gloss coats even after letting them cure for 24 hours, same with a fully cured but uncoated acrylic paint; I don't know how it interacts with enamels. Still, very highly recommended.
Best Decal Solvent!

I’d always heard that decals were one of the most frustrating parts of the process. After watching countless YouTube videos, I decided to try Mark Fit Strong Decal Setting Solvent—and I’ve never looked back. Since then, I’ve completed three more models using it, and the results have been excellent. The decals conformed perfectly to the plane’s surface, settling into every detail and texture, which made the whole process much easier than I remembered.
Works great, will continue to use.

I got this in hopes it would be simpler than the two step process/products I was using prior. Totally worked. MF Strong works as good if not better in some applications than the two part product. Another bonus is the bottle type and brush in the cap. The Tamiya bottles are much harder to knock over and spill than the other brands and not having to have brushes out for the part 1 and part 2 of the other product is a nice time/hassle save.
works great with no decal damage

I got this new bottle of decal solvent in my current order of AMT 1968 GTO kits. I decided to try it on the dash instrument decals since they are hard to see, just in case it damaged the decals. I soaked the decals in this solvent. It was way to much but I wanted to know how strong it is. The decals snuggled down in the dials with no damage at all. I really like that this solvent comes with a brush. It is so easy to use.
For the stubborn decals.

This is a pretty strong decal solvent. You need to be careful when using this one. But, when a decal is overly thick or when it just won’t adhere to that detail...I reach for this one. MicroSol gets the job done most of the time, but this has a little extra punch. There is another one called Tamiya Mark Fit Super Strong that is just insanely powerful, I honestly think Strong is all you will ever need.

I seen this product on hip guys workshop on YouTube so I thought I would give it a try.I had never used decal solvent, before i have always been a slide them on and get them down kind of guy. This stuff works amazing at sucking the decals down into panel lines and making the decals look much more relastic. I love this stuff and will be using it from now on.

It works the same as micro sol in my opinion. It might work a little better on tamiya decals with less applications on more difficult decal locations.

Good stuff. I've always been big on Testors, but this is every bit as good or possibly better.

Nice and easy application. Especially like the brush built into the cap. No cleanup necessary.
It definitely helps.

It worked well on tire decals and helped a lot on tight curves and irregular surfaces.
