Metallica Fans Unite!

Testors 1844 Icy Blue is a beautiful shade of blue but boy is it metallic, better suited for a customized application instead of a strictly stock look. It went on a Lindberg '66 Chevelle very smoothly with lots of gloss but was much more metallic than the cap color would indicate. It's so glittery I could definitely see this on an old Mattel Hot Wheels car. Fans of metallic, or Metallica for that matter will flip for this.

If you're looking for wild flake look no further than the Testors Extreme Lacquer series of paints. This particular color Icy Blue is one of my favorites. The first coat goes on light but subsequent coats give you a deeper richer blue. The more coats you spray the deeper the shade of blue.
I love this color.

These Testors One Coat Lacquers are great. If you are careful and prep your model properly and use good technique, these paints will work great for you. The color was a bit light on the first coat, but darkened with each subsequent coat.
Always good results!
Testors and Tamiya are my go to products! And have found that they are compatible with each other.
