Cool little crane model. Not really functional as far as the crane is concerned, but can be posed. Take your time on assembly and remove as many sprue marks as you can before assembly. I used a standing magnifying glass with an LED light. I cannot imagine assembling this without some assistance. I do not recommend thin cement for the assembly of the chassis and other large parts, but it came in useful for some of the details on the boom. Instructions were vague in some places, and no videos or primers on line with assistance. So test fit several times before attaching. I'm going to use decals for a prototype RR, although there won't be a precise match. Be sure to get trucks with couplers. For the appropriate time period and RR, I would recommend this kit!

This is a fantastic steam crane. Very similar to the one owned by Strasburg Railroad. Just remember, the kit does not come with trucks as it says in the description. The person who gave it a 1-star rating should have read the description thoroughly.

same as other Tichy kits I ordered two kits but got no trucks or wheel sets as it is shown on box or your add ?
