Reviews : Trumpeter Ford GT40 Le Mans Edition

This is something special. I have a lot of kits cars, ships , airplanes and others hundreds. This is one of the coolest kits I have ever owned. I’m about done with the engine and it comes mostly painted Champagne gold and what they call steel that is gun metal but is beautiful. Lots of chromed trees with parts that need painting I’m using Tamiya surface primer and it sticks pretty good to the chrome so the painted parts come out good. The instructions are not up to Wingnuts, but on slick paper not the cheap paper Trumpeter’s standard paper. The instructions are top notch and easy to read after careful examination. Lots and lots of detail every thing so far fits good.

Good quality and crisp molding through out and minimal flashing. Easily read and well described instructions and a pleasure to build as the parts fit very well.

This is by far the worst model i have ever purchased to many chorme parts instructions were very poor i will stick with tamiya products

From what I can tell looking over this kit this has it all I hope you like a lot of parts I do
