Good end result, but very frustrating at times with extremely small parts
Good kit but VERY difficult to build at times. It comes with a LOT of very small parts which are difficult to attach. An example is the AA gun assembly - it has a platform/deck mount and then the gun itself, all of which are extremely tiny and difficult to handle even with tweezers. To some extent I was able to work around this by mounting the platform to the deck or other part of the ship, and then attaching the AA guns to that. A mast was extremely delicate and broke while detaching from the mold, and removing flash was very difficult when dealing with such delicate parts.
The experience could’ve been worse, and it ended up looking fairly decent. Having said that you will need a lot of patience dealing with these parts. I think it would have produced a better result if some of these tinier parts had been produced as 1 part, as they’re quite small to start with and combining, for example, the AA gun assembly would’ve made for a more positive experience.
