A great Hetzer by UM
The Jagdpanzer 38 Hetzer Tank destroyers were arguably the best variants of the PzKpfw 38(t) light tanks very large family of AFV with same/very similar chassis. The Germans find this (38t) chassis so reliable that they continued producing it, especially the Hetzer, until the very end of the war. UM incurs in almost every variant of this little tank. and in this case they do it in a very good shape. The Starr name of this variant, is because it was simplified version of the Jagdpanzer 38, only ten produced, but very similar on the outside (Except for the exhaust), to the regular Hetzers. The moldings are fine, even though, some parts require some sanding, but nothing very serious. The plastic tracks look very fine, and comes with some photo-etched parts that are a good addition also (side skirts, e.g.), the decals are fine, but the quality, is something that UM should improve in the future. The level of detail is very good, taking account that this vehicle is a small TD and is 1/72. Overall this kit looks great for this scale. And is a must to any collection of WWII AFVs.
