Reviews : Vallejo 200ml Bottle Thinner

I've used this thinner for airbrushing with Vallejo model color paints, to further dilute their model air paints, and with their primer. I've had no problems and good results across the board -- typically spraying 20psi with a single action Paasche. I was concerned 200ml was a smallish container but it's going to last a long time. I researched other DIY thinners with mixed success and while this is more much expensive per volume it will last long enough that I'm not losing any sleep over the cost.

Vallejo Airbrush Thinner 71.161 is specifically formulated to work best with Vallejo acrylic paint. However I have used it with AK Interactive and Mission Model acrylic paint and it is compatible with these brands.I have also used this product with generic acrylic hobby craft paints and it will work with those as well.

I haven't used this product yet to thin out non airbrush ready paints. But I did use it to clean my airbrush and it worked fairly good at thinning the dried paint inside the airbrush cup down to the point that it was spraying out as a very thinned down wash. Cant wait to try it out on some Vallejo non air paints.

Vallejo Airbrush Thinner works as the instructions state. It only takes a couple DROPS to thin paint to a good covering consistency. I missed that because it helps to read the instructions on the bottle.Lasts a long time because it only takes a couple of drops to thin your paint.

I have used this thinner with AV, AK and Model Master acrylic paints with very good results. I have also used it to clean out my airbrush in between colors. Love the product, and just received two more bottles from HobbyLinc.

A little goes a long way no fuss no smell - a couple drops on a paper towel for initial clean and cup wipe followed cleaner. Thins primer and paints well enough to run through my fine tip.

I bought this for airbrushing and like it for most paints and will use it eventually. Works well with the primers and sprays easily.

Very good thinner for acrylic paint. I have thinned Vallejo paints (non-Model Air) for airbrush use, with great results.

Great thinner at a great price. Good for all acrylic paints, washes etc. equivalent to more expensive brands.

Thinner that does exactly what it says. Would definitely recommend if using vallejo products.

I use this to clear the airbrush. Works great w/ Tamiya and model master acrylics as well.
