Hydrocal Alternative
I was first introduced to Smooth It via the Woodland Scenic Road Kit. When I had completed the roads I had some left over. For my hilly terrain I had been using Woodland Scenic Hydrocal over their plaster cloth. The hydrocal had a very grainy texture, pimply, pebbly, which made rock faces look unnatural. So I tried Smooth it. Big improvement. Satisfying results. Easy clean up. Really goes a long way.
PS: The WS Plaster Cloth has a screen like finish when dried. Many tiny holes that paint and ground effects don't totally cover. A thin coat of Smooth It takes care of that.
Smooth it
Little messy but a very good product. Tend to get a few bubbles after it dries, but I'm not sure if that is something I'm doing. Easy to patch with a little more smooth it.
Great product
Great product. Main purpose is for roads or driveways but can be used for rock molds. Like most plasters the dry time varies based on how much water is used.

This product has many many uses. I even use it for roadways and streets when I have a specific look I am trying to achieve.
