This is a nice big container of flock - 32 oz is a lot! This will last me for a while. The flock is very fine, which is good for the grass effect. The best part of this buy, however, is the price - all 32 oz for $8.29 (at the time of writing). The color is good, but a little too green for my taste. The reason that I did not let this detract from my rating of the product is that it's not the flock's fault for being really green - I just should have gotten a duller color. I model Ancient and World War II figures a lot, both of which eras look a lot better with dull green, so... Anyway, good product, good price = good buy.

Woodland Scenics Fine Turf is a very good base for your rural and urban landscapes. I like to build upon a foundation of beach sand imbedded in dilute white glue. Paint a 50/50 mix of white glue & water onto the areas where you want the fine turf and use the convenient shaker top to apply. Use a sandwich baggy or food storage bag full of sand to press the turf down and let dry.

I used this product to complete my horse riding park. First I wet the area with thinned white glue and sprinkled the product covering the glue area. I gently blew on the same area to remove any excess grass. The effect was as I hoped. I recommend this product.

Works well for a deep green forest foluage , or when sprinkled over ballast to simulate weeds. Becomes darker when sealed down with a scenic cement, blending with a lighter green turf in layers is suggested.

This is great for trains and scale modeling! I've used it one several dioramas combined with other grasses. It gives it more depth and variety to the grass. Overall, this is a very useful item to have!

I have used this brand of grass before. I was surprised that this is probably the best place to buy it in regard to pricing. Goes a long way. I eventually bought more of the different color and grades.

Great product for a base for static grass, background or forest floors but it is really too green for real grass. the shaker bottle top doesn't help, it shakes out too much.

This is a great item for the price.It is very easy to use and looks awesome once installed. Looks very real and will enhance anyones scenery on their model railroad layout

Excellent turf product in a convenient container. Would definitely recommend this product to anyone looking for a quality real looking turf product.

Very easy to work with. The color and texture are realistic. Just wish the bottle had a finer slotted shaker opening so it shakes out more slowly.

The application is easy and the finished product is acceptable. The clean up of excess product that did not stick is cumbersome to say the least!

Exactly what I needed, just a shade different that I used previously and made a great contrast.

Easy way to cover that tough areas on your layout with real looking grass. Great product.
