If you are looking for a King Tiger kit with great detail and a modest amount of parts then this is the kit you need. The mold quality in this kit is superb with some nice rolled steel texturing and the overall level of detail is as good as any king tiger kit out there. The kit comes with link and length tracks, photo etch, 2 figures, and even a metal barrel if you manage to get your hands on the first production batch. There is no interior provided or zimmerit molded on but Meng does sell those as seperate add ons to this model as well as a workable suspension and track set. This model was joy to build and was not overly complex but can be a little challenging to beginners. I highly recommend this model to any King Tiger fan.

Was about to choose (another said my son) Panther from MENG that had interlocking tracks after watching a video. Never dome either a Meng or a King Tiger before so listened and acted. Great kit with tons of detail, parts, options, photo-etch, even tried the zimmerit decals which were fantastic and easy. Absolutely loved this kit but still not a keen fan of solid track. YES there is the best jig I have ever used to connect them in correct shape but there is always a tiny mismatch with those last two track pieces that adds a buckle or kink in an obvious place. Thoroughly recommend both Meng and this kit. Now to find that Meng with working track links to see a whole difference.
